Ok so NOW we have a photographer

We finally found a photographer...for real this time. Lindsay Jane Photography is doing our pictures and Sarah will be our photographer. This is Sarah's blogspot http://www.lindsayjanebysarah.blogspot.com/ I really like her work. We are getting our engagments done in October and I am way excited...but I think Gavin might be even more excited. Why you ask? Well he has a whole plan drawn out. And when I say drawn, I literaly mean drawn out with stick figures and everything. :)

Who would have thought these two would fall in love?

How cute are these kiddies?! I cant get over how adorable Gav was. I have just been getting stuff ready for the wedding day slide show and I had the funnest time looking at pictures! Gavin was one of the cutest and fattest little babies I have ever seen. Kate looked tiny next to him. So cute. :) I must say too that I think this pic of me is pretty cute too. But Gavin has this really cute crooked smile (You cant really tell in this picture but in the other ones, its really cute.) Have I been saying cute too much? CUTE CUTE CUTE CUTE CUTE! There really isnt any better word to describe it.

Bridesmaids!

I'd like to introduce to you my wonderful bridesmaids! There are so many people I would LOVE to be part of the wedding, but I tried to keep it as simple as I could. So dont feel bad if you werent asked... I still love you!!!

First off is Alexis.

Alexis, or Lexi as we call her, is my talented 16 year old sister. She is very good at anything artsy and I will always wish I could do what she does.

Isn't she lovely?

Next is my other sister, Addie. She will be 11 on Monday and pretty much is as adventurous as it gets. :)

She is a cutie

Next is my cousin Megan. This is a package deal because Meg is pregnant with her first baby and we cant wait to welcome the little bundle of joy into our family.

She is due in March so the wedding in February will be lot of fun for her. :)

Kaity is my other cousin who will be joining the girlies. Kaity is my partner in crime and we always have alot of fun together.

Her missionary just got home and she is real happy about that. ;)

Next is our other Kate... But this is Kate Gardner, Gavin's beauiful twin sister. I actually haven't met her yet because she is on a mission in Oakland, California. She gets back in January just in time for the activities! I cant wait to meet her face to face.

She reminds me of Giselle on Enchanted.
:)

And last but not least is my best friend since 7th grade. I said Kaity and I were partners in crime, but Cassidy and I were little outlaws. We have been through everything together and I'm so glad that she is going to share this with me.

It was hard choosing a picture of Cassidy. There are so many that really show her personality, but I think that she would prefer something more relaxed. :D Love ya Cass!

These girls are awesome and I love them all to death! I promise that I will try to find decent bridesmaid dresses! :D :D :D

I will post the groomsmen as soon as Gavin asks them to do it!

Lauren's Ring

Gavin got me this GORGEOUS ring from Lashbrook Jewelers. (http://www.lashbrookdesigns.com/)
I couldn't be happier about it. I gave them an idea of what I was looking for and it came out better then I could have imagined. I LOVE IT!!! It is so unique, and so me. :) These pictures are just the design, and it doesnt even do the real ring justice. (It looks even better on my finger.) ;)

Thank you so much Gavin! I love you. :)

Number 12

Labor day weekend was awesome. Thursday was the big football game against SUU and although we lost, it was a fun and intense game. Gavin had quite a big cheer section between my family and his. :) Go number 12!!

Pranks

Last year, I wrote for the college newspaper, The Dixie Sun. One of the articles I did was on pranks. Technically, as a writer for the paper, you cant use personal stories, but this prank was too good not to. Below is an exerpt from the article I wrote about the prank Lexy and her "friend" (me) pulled on Mr. Gavin Gardner. . .

Learn to pull off successful pranks

By Lauren Jones

"April Fools' Day is still a distance away, but that doesn't stop some students from finding ways to break away from the everyday routine and enjoy life to the fullest. Most people have been the target of a prank. Sometimes it has been funny, and other times we just want revenge.

Lexy Cline, a freshman radiology major from Salt Lake City, was with her friend (ME!) when they decided to pull a prank on Gavin Gardner, a sophomore biology major from Lake Shore, who was out of town at the time. They started blowing up a bunch of pink balloons, planning on filling up his dorm room, but they got to the 70th balloon and realized that they would be there forever. So, instead they put a sheet by the door and filled the space with the balloons. When their friend came home, it was so packed he couldn't even open the door.

"I was confused why my door wouldn't open," Gardner said. "Then I saw the balloons, and I thought it filled the entire room. So I whipped out my pocket knife and started popping. I was relieved when I saw the sheet and realized that it wasn't entirely full. I was shocked they came up with that. Let the games begin."

To get the girls back, Gardner inadvertently told them he was allergic to latex. The girls got worried and went to his place to see what they could do. Gardner then "popped" out and scared them half to death."

. . . This is a pic only about a fourth of the way done. Gavin was out of town and his suitemate and friend, Craig let us in to play the joke on him. We werent sure when he'd be back, so we were trying to hurry.

This is Craig . . . Caught helping with the prank!

And this is Lexy helping too. :)

Good times. . . Good times.

:)

Just a couple of goofballs

I really dont have anything new to say. I am just sitting in my room between classes, not wanting to do my homework (who WOULD want to read Hamlet?) It's only the second week of school and I am already procrastinating. Great.
Anyway, that being said, it's the second week of school and Labor day is coming up, so that means no classes! Whoo hoo! Also my family is coming down to our condo down here and I am really excited, we always have a lot of fun there. One thing we do is play ultimate spoons. It gets pretty intense. I hope we dont scare Gavin away. ;) I think the girls will go see Aida at the Tuacahn theater sometime while they are down here and the guys are gonna go golfing. It should be a lot of fun. :)

I made a video for my family with some pics with some of the adventures from the condo.
