'So nice to have a night off': Danielle Lloyd escapes to Ibiza with her girlfriends

If all had gone to plan, Danielle Lloyd would have been at home right now recovering from childbirth with a five-year-old baby.

But, as her fans well know, the 27-year-old WAG has endured a stressful and emotional summer after her beloved son Harry was born a staggering ten weeks early in July.

With the baby doing well after five weeks at home, the mother-of-two obviously felt he was strong enough to be without her for a couple of days while she enjoyed some time off with her girlfriends.


Miss Lloyd escaped to Ibiza with some pals to soak up the sunshine and presumably catch up on some sleep.

But her family were never far far from her mind. Danielle tweeted last night: 'Pasha! so nice 2 have a night off from being mum having fun with the girls.' But she added, 'Love my kids & hubby.'

Today, she was clearly missing her sons and fiance Jamie O'Hara after a day apart, and posted a picture of her with her children with the caption, 'Me & my 2 beautiful boys! There (sic) my life love them so much.'

Miss Lloyd looked relaxed as she enjoyed the beach in Ibiza today, where she and her girlfriends will be attending the summer's closing parties.

She soaked up the sun in a pretty blue and white striped bandeau bikini and aviator sunglasses.

Danielle was pictured wading into the ocean with one of her friends, reclining on a sun lounger and checking in back home on her mobile.

Last weekend, the day she was due to give birth to Harry, the Miss Lloyd took her baby to watch his father play football.

She was pictured gazing tenderly at her 11-week-old son as O'Hara, 25, played for his team Wolverhampton against Liverpool.

The mother of two tweeted later: 'took Harry to his first football game today to watch @mrjamieohara at Anfield had a lovely day Xxx'

Only a month ago Danielle tweeted a picture of Harry's tiny hand clasped around her finger, the miniscule nails barely formed.

Harry was released from hospital on August 15, after a tense month-long stay.

The child battled for his life after he was born ten weeks early, weighing just 4lb 4oz.

He was immediately put on a ventilator to assist with his breathing, but Danielle endured the fright of her life when she visited him in hospital ne day to find that he had pulled it out.

She told OK! magazine: 'I went to see him in hospital one day to find that he'd pulled his ventilator out and his life support had switched off.'

'His breathing was really heavy and there was no oxygen going to his brain and it could've caused brain damage.'

What's for lunch? The group had a laugh as they selected from the menu

'His skin was also discoloured and he was put back on the life support. It was the most terrifying moment of my life and I just sobbed my heart out.'

Harry was put on a life support machine because it was discovered that he had a hole in his heart and that not enough oxygen was getting to his brain.

Danielle, who is also mother to one-year-old Archie with her fiancé Jamie added that Harry will develop normally 'but it'll take him longer'.

He beat off some stiff competition from the hunks of the soap world to be crowned the Sexiest Male star at this week's Inside Soap Awards.

And today, Danny Mac proved why he is TV's number one pin-up as he stripped on in the sun to show off his tanned and toned physique.

It certainly wasn't just the heat making his female fans swoon as the Hollyoaks star paraded his hunky form as he and his co-stars soaked up the Indian summer.

Danny, 23, plays Mark 'Dodger' Savage' and arrived on Hollyoaks in March but has already established himself as a pin-up in that short time.

But he was sure to break some hearts today as former Hollyoaks star Carly Stenson announced that she and Mac are an item.

Carly previously dated Ricky Whittle, who played Calvin Valentine in the soap, added: 'We really didn't plan to be dating people from Hollyoaks. I didn't even realise when I first met him.

It was never going to be long before Britain's most renowned It Girl was photographed outside the country's most talked-about new nightspot.

And Tara Palmer-Tomkinson clearly enjoyed her evening at The Box, the Soho venue at the centre of controversy over its risqué burlesque performances.

The socialite, 39, was pictured leaving in the early hours of yesterday morning looking very much the worse for wear.

The sleazy club has become increasingly popular with celebrities - and even royals - for its performances featuring topless women and reputedly live sex acts.

However, it's not clear what events occurred inside the Soho nightspot that left the heiress looking quite so shell-shocked.

She was also spotted by onlookers slumped against a wall outside of the club, was also nursing a cut on her finger.

Tara's spokesperson explained: ' She cut her finger quite deeply while picking up her handbag from under the table.

'She caught it on broken glass. Tara then left to have it treated and was naturally in shock.'

The club has been visited by Prince Harry who spent an evening there with friends in February.

While actress Keira Knightley and cricketer Kevin Pietersen have also been pictured at the venue.

But Tara clearly was keen to check it out for herself and left looking like she'd enjoyed it a bit too much.

The evening had started so well, as the socialite looked sleek in her rock-chick outfit before hitting the club.

Katie Price tries to keep up with the young ‘uns… as she parties with TOWIE girls for Lauren Pope's fun-filled birthday

It was supposed to be her friend's special night, but Katie Price managed to steal the limelight from Lauren Pope on a night out to celebrate her 28th birthday.

Miss Price, 33, joined Lauren and several friends, including fellow TOWIE star Maria Fowler, for a jaunt to central London.

The motley crew hit seafood restaurant Zilli in Soho, before heading to the Shadow Lounge to continue partying.

But it was Katie Price's rather obscure wardrobe choice that became the centrepoint of the evening.

The glamour model wore a white vest with a large tiger face emblazoned across its entire front,with an unusual pair of leggings with sheer panels down the sides, metal detailing down the front of the legs and studded knee pads.

She completed the outfit with a pair of beige ankle boots.

According to reports it took a grand total of 16 hours for Miss Price to have her new hair extensions fitted.

Despite her outlandish outfit overshadowing her friend's toned down look, Katie sensibly opted to head home early after the group had shared a meal together.

Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli personally cooked for the pair, and Katie Price dined on a healthy organic baked sea bass without drinking – taking seriously her new role as Lauren’s agent and leaving at 8pm.

Her early exit may well have been to allow Lauren to soak up all of the attention on the night.

Meanwhile birthday girl Lauren looked great in a far more understated LBD which perfectly complimented her fantastic figure.

The birthday girl carried a foil balloon throughout the evening, so she at least got a share of the attention during the course of the night.

Katie and Lauren have been friends for some time and have been pictured partying together on several.

Most recently Lauren attended a birthday party for Miss Price's boyfriend Leandro Penna.

Maria, 25, wore a patterned mini dress by AX Paris, while Lauren Goodger wore a similar cut blue number with long sleeves by Gorgeouscouture.com.

Both ladies kept their top halves covered up, perhaps to allow their friend the birthday girl to bask in the limelight.

Coincidentally fellow TOWIE star Luck Mecklburgh and her new man Mario walked past the restaurant while their co-stars were inside, but they didn't pop in to say hello.

Earlier in the evening Lauren was obviously excited about her impending night out.

Her first stop was Zilli's restaurant, where the group enjoyed a spot of seafood put on by hosts Aldo and Nikki Zilli.

The posse, which also included Lauren's friends Tommy Clark, Jemma Stern and a few colourful characters including hairstylist 'Mikey Kardashian' and Joey Haines, ended up in gay venue the Shadow Lounge.

The private members-only club touts itself as 'one of the most unashamedly stylish, fashionable and sumptuous experiences in the capital'.

She may have been the victim of Twitter abuse last week, but Cher Lloyd is determined not to let them ruin her success.

The 18-year-old singer arrived at Key 103 radio station in Manchester today to continue the promotion of her upcoming debut album.

With her boyfriend, Craig Monk, by her side the former X Factor contestant looked happy as she arrived for her appearance on the airwaves.


Wearing an odd combination of colours, the singer teamed a pair of off white skinny jeans with an ACDC printed top, and although the sun was shining she decided to wear an over-sized bright blue baseball jacket on top.

With her brown curly hair in its usual side style, Lloyd also carried her belongings in a brown tassled drawstring bag and completed her look with a pair of black and tan coloured brogues.

Trainee hairdresser Craig on the other hand stuck to neutral colours by wearing a camel coloured pair of trousers with a grey printed t-shirt.

The pair have been dating since June, after meeting when Monk put in the teen singer's hair extensions at the Four Salon in Mayfair where he works.

And lately it seems that Lloyd's doting boyfriend seems to accompany her wherever she goes.

The singer also made an appearance on Radio One last week and arrived with supportive Monk in tow.

Lloyd's debut album is due to be released in November, with the star's second single, With Ur Love, being released on October 30.

Today it was reported that the Swagger Jagger singer is calling for government intervention to halt online abuse from 'trolls' who torment others via social networking sites.

Vorderman appeared to love the attention and couldn't stop laughing and even played up to the joke by pulling both sides of her top down to emphasise her chest.

Vorderman has been married twice and had a high-profile split from Daily Mail columnist Des Kelly last year.
