Strictly - Week 7 LIVE BLOG
Another week and more dances for our remaining 9 contestants to choose from.
First up are Pamela and James who will be dancing the cha cha cha! She looks sensational an says that she's lost 2 stone (28lbs) since starting the show. It's a brilliant routine - loved the Bucks Fizz-esque way her costume was revealed! Len thinks she's been overcautious - judges like it but think she needs to give it some more "oomph".
Score: 32/40
Next couple on the floor are Michelle and Brendan dancing the pass doble. The routine is okay but for me it lacks energy.... Good comments from Alesha but the other judges are less supportive. They seem to be saying that the first half of the routine was good but second half fell apart.
Score: 24/40
The third couple up are Patsy and Robin who will be dancing the Viennese Waltz. I love the routine - it was light and airy and told the story beautifully. The comments from the judges are so good that Patsy looks like she's going to cry! Even Craig loved her!
Score: 32/40 (her best!)
The fourth couple are Gavin and Katya and they'll be dancing the quick step. Sweet Jesus, he jsut snogged Bruno! Fantastic routine - his best yet if ya ask me! Judges love it!
Score: 33/40
Sidenote: Rugby changing room before the watershed means that they're still wearing shorts. Boo!
Couple number 5 are Ann and Anton dancing the foxtrot. It's a wonderful performance - Ann is a real crowd pleaser. The judges like that she's trying but she's never gonna top the leaderboard. My prediction is that she will definitely be in Blackpool next week.
Score: 20/40
Sidenote: I'm still not over that Gavin/Bruno kiss!
We're into the second half of the show now with Kara and Artem dancing the Argentine tango. One word - SENSATIONAL! Short and sweet from the judges - they all love it! Craig's review was "Amazing".
Score: 38/40
Couple number seven are Felicity and Vincent dancing the salsa. I've made it clear that I find her boring and in my opinion, the routine is nothing spectacular. Judges saying that it didn't flow as well as previous dances.
Score: 26/40
Sidenote: Why are we down to 3 judges giving scores after each dance?
Our penultimate couple are Matt and Aliona dancing the rhumba. It's a sultry dance and I loved it! Judges telling him that it'd a manly routine but lost the flow on parts.
Score: 35/40
And the final couple of the evening are Scott and Natalie dancing the jive. The choreography is sensational and Bruno got another kiss (but this time from Natalie). All 4 judges love it - Craig called it "finger licking good"!
Score: 39/40
And thats it! So who'll be going to Blackpool? Find out tomorrow!
