T Mobile has a reputation for producing the most innovative adverts. It all started with 400 dancers in London's Liverpool Street train station back in January 2009. The ad first aired on Channel 4 and was shown in its entirety on tv only once - after the initial showing, it was cut down into 30 second segments and aired as a standard advert. You can see the behind the scenes for this event here.
From this, T Mobile moved on to a giant 6000 person sing-along in Trafalgar Square with one very special guest - P!nk. The crowd is given their microphones and then like a massive karaoke, they all start singing the Beatles hit "Hey Jude" (hey did sing other songs, but this was the only one that made it to the full length commercial).
And that leads us on to the latest offering - an instrument less concerto in Heathrow's Terminal 5 that appears from nowhere. I was lucky to catch the first showing of this on Friday as well and it's just one of those things that would bring a smile to your face - no matter how bad your day has been going.
Whoever thought these up is a legend!
