hough the country has many airports, if you are on a Denmark flight you are likely going to land in Copenhagen airport. Unless you are flying in specifically to see Legoland (Billund is the other major Danish airport), a flight to Copenhagen is probably your best bet – not only does it offer the cheapest flights in and out of Denmark, but for many Copenhagen is the main reason to be flying into Denmark anyway. Considering the relatively higher prices of Scandinavia versus the rest of Europe, cheap airfare to Copenhagen is definitely a lofty goal, but there are ways to get discount tickets for the savvy traveler.

SAS offers something called a Visit Scandinavia Air Pass, featuring up to eight one-way plane tickets through Scandinavia and other participating European cities, such as Paris and London. The airfare is heavily discounted, with a one-way ticket often falling well below three figures, making a flight to Copenhagen fairly inexpensive. These passes, however, are only available if bought in conjunction with a round trip ticket from your country of origin - since Denmark flights are often the cheapest of the Scandinavian airports, these almost always include a stop in the Danish capital. Another way to get cheap airfare to Copenhagen is to look into family fares, also through SAS. Depending on age and number of people flying, severely discounted Copenhagen flights can be arranged.

The Boy Who Wouldnt Grow Up

Today, I would like to share a piece of my soul with you.

Growing up, I was always taught to not be afraid to take risks, to be creative and to try new things. I was taught that magic was real and that dreams come true and there really are happily ever afters. Every day was an adventure and each hour was filled with creations from my imagination.
My mother helped make every day special. She would tell me about fairies, lead me to the entrance of Narnia and would play wonderful, upbeat music. There wasnt a doubt in my mind whether things things were true, they just were.

Even now, I love the thought of enchantment and something bigger than life itself.
I'm sure you can guess, but one of my all time favorite stories was about the "Boy Who Wouldnt Grow Up."

The tale of Peter Pan is more than just a story out of a childrens book. It revisits a time in everyone's childhood when danger and adventure lured us into the possibilities of the imagination. It reminds us of when anything could be believed and make-believe was real.

I have watched just about every version of Peter Pan ever made, and it never gets old. One of my all time FAVORITE quotes was by the actor, Dustin Hoffman. He best decribes the story this way… “In Peter Pan there is a place called Never Land and if you ask people what the metaphor is, you will get different answers. One person might say that it is a journey to imagination, to creativity. Others might say it means you never die. Never Land is the place that exists, for all of us, in the wish part of our brains.”

My life can pretty much be summed up in that simple, little quote. I have strived to live my life with the mind set of "Neverland'. Of not trying to grow up so quickly, that it is okay to grow old and to be an adult, but also know the importance of maintaining those childlike qualities, and simply believe.

I delight in finding the beauties in life that are all around me; to capturing a little bit of that magic and share it with my loved ones and with the world.
As I have grown older (not "up" I refuse to "grow up") I have learned to channel the imagination I have into creating. I create events, I create costumes, I create songs, stories, scripts, scrapbooks, dances and photographs.

I have had a dream to do a photography company unlike any other. My goal is to bring people to Never Land. To let them experience the magic and the imagination that comes with it, no matter the age! Never Land isnt just a place. It is a state of being. I will provide a moment of Never Land for my friends and loved ones and I will capture it in a way that will never be forgotten and can be enjoyed everyday.

Never Land... Let me take to there.

Children (and myself) all around the world can be found with their windows wide open in hopes that Peter Pan will find them and carry them to that second star on the right….and well, you know the way.

Oh to live... To live…is the greatest adventure of them all.

That’s salmon salad you see on the top left, with a small bowl strawberries and melon balls beside it for dessert. The main dish was fish with steamed vegetables (it tasted better than how it looks). Then there’s the usual bun with soft margarine and with a Dutch touch — a small piece of Gouda cheese.

Sorry, I didn’t have the foresight to take a photo of the other in-flight meals that we had.

DH and I chose a special meal, hence we ended up with the fruits for dessert while everyone else had caramel. But guess what? Since the flight was not full, I asked one of the stewardesses half-jokingly to give us some of the caramel if there was any extra. And they gave us one each! The caramel was damn good, I tell you, topped with whipped cream and a small sliver of dark chocolate. It was so good I just dove into it, even though I longed so much to take a photo of it first. I just couldn’t wait to get my teeth into it!

Thinking about making a short trip from Penang to Kuala Lumpur next week and looking at possibilities of using Malaysia Airlines to jet into the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or AirAsia and land at the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) or be propelled by Firefly into the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (SAAS) Airport, formerly known as Subang Airport.
However, the problem I see with Malaysia Airlines is the rather high cost of the ticket. After throwing in the taxes and what not, a return ticket on my intended days of travel will amount to RM515, and I haven't even added in the cost of the KLIA Express tickets (another RM70) and the travel to KL Sentral to catch the train. It's going to cost something like RM600 for the round trip.
AirAsia, well, they are so much cheaper at RM161 for a return trip (could become more expensive if I delay booking my flight tickets) and the cost of a bus ticket from the LCCT to KL Sentral and back is only about RM14. However, the flight schedule does not really appeal to me. I'm only free to travel in the afternoon but by the time I get to Kuala Lumpur, the whole day is gone and wasted.

The return flight will cost RM239 (more than I expected, actually, but I don't get to waste the afternoon and evening hours) and I think that I shall need perhaps another RM70 for travel from Subang airport to my destination in KL. Total cost is around RM310.According to the Firefly website, it only takes about 30 minutes of ground travel time from the airport to the Kuala Lumpur city centre. It doesn't elaborate but I think that Fireflyz meant the KLCC and not anywhere else. Where would the Kuala Lumpur city centre be if not the KLCC?
At the airport, taxi coupons must be purchased at the taxi counter near the Skypark information counter, and the taxi counter is open from 7am to 11.30pm. (I think it is a type error on the website because it says until 11.30am.) Anyway, cost per trip is RM35 to all destinations in Kuala Lumpur and RM23 to all destinations in Petaling Jaya, including the Kelana Jaya Putra Light Rail Transit (LRT) station.

Malaysia Airlines flies a Boeing 777 aircraft on the Stockholm to KL route. There are two classes of service on this plane: Golden Club Class and economy. Fortunately, I was in seat 2D, an aisle seat in the center. (The business configuration is 2-3-2; in economy it's 2-5-2). There was no one in the middle seat between me and the American woman on my right, so we had more than enough space. The sleeper seats were comfortable. They're in a privacy shell, meaning they don't recline on the passenger behind. They slide down to a flat bed on a 9-degree angle. I have a difficult time sleeping on planes, but I did manage a couple of hours. I don't think it would have mattered even if I had my California King on the plane. I was so excited to be traveling over parts of the world I have only dreamed about seeing that there was no way I would get much sleep. I kept switching back to the in-flight map on the 10.4-inch LCD touch screen monitor to see what country we were flying over. I hardly even used any of the 350 entertainment options, which included a wide range of 40 movies (from new releases to classics), 60 TV shows (comedies and travel programs), 200 music CDs and 55 video games. They offer the same entertainment in economy, on smaller screens. My only disappointment with the in-flight entertainment was the headset. I expected noise cancellation headphones, but they had the same cheap ones American carriers have in coach. I was surprised the flight attendants collected them before landing – as if someone would steal them.
