Sexy cheerleader: Naya Riviera, who plays Glee Cheerio Santana Lopez, looked all grown-up in a sexy black dress at last night's Emmy Awards
She plays a high school cheerleader who uses her sexuality to get what she wants - and is very rarely left disappointed.
And Naya Riviera certainly didn't leave the cameras disappointed last night as she proved she can do sexy off-screen just as easily as she can on it.
The Glee star looked absolutely sensational in a very sexy and slinky black dress, with a split up the right leg, that showed off her slender frame.
Naya, 24, teamed the black dress with sexy and smouldering make-up that made her look very sultry - and very sophisticated.
And she took to her Twitter page before the awards to write: 'Currently getting my face beat something fierce for the Emmys! Leaving soon!'
Purple princess: Heather Morris, who plays cheerleader Brittany S. Pierce, looked stunning in her plunging ruffled gown
It's all about her: Director Martin Scorsese was left in Heather's wake on the red carpet - but encouraged the cameras to flash away as he held out his arm towards her
She led her female co-stars into the Emmy Awards who all looked equally as gorgeous and all grown-up, a far cry from their high school alter egos.
Naya's on and off-screen best friend Heather Morris, 24, who plays ditsy cheerleader Brittany S. Pierce, oozed old Hollywood as she arrived in a plunging purple gown that was made up of layers of soft, sweeping ruffles.
Bringing sexy back: Lea Michele set pulses racing in her clingy red dress
She walked on to the red carpet just before acclaimed director Martin Scorcese and not only towered over him, but grabbed the cameras' attention away from him too.
Not that seemed to mind and was snapped holding out his arm directing the flashbulbs at Heather, who laughed at his antics.
Electrifying: Dianna Agron oozed glamour in her electric blue gown
Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry also became the talk of the red carpet in her very sexy backless Marchesa dress.
Dianna Agron, 25, who plays head cheerleader Quinn Fabray looked very sophisticated as she rolled up at the bash in an electric blue satin dress.
Filled with Glee: Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes Jones in the hit show, beams for the cameras as she and her co-star Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina Cohen-Chang, posed together
She wrote on her Twitter page as she was on her way to the ceremony that she felt like 'a little girl in big kids clothes'.
She added: 'Nervous jitters like I'm going back to Prom. Don't know why. I feel like a big girl when I put on high heels. I blame Carrie Bradshaw.'
Girly: Despite being older than her castmates, Jayma Mays looked very young in her fluffy pink dress
Amber Riley, 25, who plays Mercedes Jones, and Jenna Ushkowitz, also 25, who plays Tina Cohen-Chang, arrived together and made a very pretty pair as they posed for the cameras together.
And Amber joked on her email that she wished the night could have been more casual and said: 'I wish you could wear jeans and graphic Tee and chucks to the Emmys! Don't worry, I would never... or would I *evil grin*
The jocks: Mark Salling, who plays Noah Puckerman and Cory Montieth, who plays quarterback Finn Hudson
Here come the boys: Darren Criss, who plays Blaine Anderson and Chris Colfer who plays his on-screen boyfriend Kurt Hummel
'Lol I am definitely am a girly-girl! I love putting on dresses and gettin dolled up.'
As for the boys, there's only so much you can do with a tuxedo but they still managed to send hearts a flutter looking sexy and mature in their dinner jackets.
New Directions: Kevin McHale, who plays Artie Abrams and Harry Shum Jnr, who plays dancer Mike Chang
But unfortunately, co-star Jayma Mays, who plays the school counsellor Emma Pillsbury, let the Mackinley High School side down in her pink fluffy dress that made the 32-year-old look really girly.
The cast and the show left empty-handed last night despite being nominated in a couple of categories, but they enjoyed the night as they cheered on cast mate Jane Lynch, who plays cheerleading coach Jane Lynch.
Your host for the evening: After her hilarious opening skit, Jane Lynch took to the stage in a David Meister pewter tissue lame keyhole gown
