Number one pin-up: It was not hard to see why Hollyoaks's Danny Mac was crowned Sexiest Male at this week's Inside Soap Awards as he showed off his physique as he soaked up the sun in a park near the set today

He beat off some stiff competition from the hunks of the soap world to be crowned the Sexiest Male star at this week's Inside Soap Awards.

And today, Danny Mac proved why he is TV's number one pin-up as he stripped on in the sun to show off his tanned and toned physique.

It certainly wasn't just the heat making his female fans swoon as the Hollyoaks star paraded his hunky form as he and his co-stars soaked up the Indian summer.

Danny, 23, plays Mark 'Dodger' Savage' and arrived on Hollyoaks in March but has already established himself as a pin-up in that short time.

But he was sure to break some hearts today as former Hollyoaks star Carly Stenson announced that she and Mac are an item.

And as he won the award, she told heat magazine: 'I've done well. I've bagged myself the sexiest male!'

Katie Price tries to keep up with the young ‘uns… as she parties with TOWIE girls for Lauren Pope's fun-filled birthday

It was supposed to be her friend's special night, but Katie Price managed to steal the limelight from Lauren Pope on a night out to celebrate her 28th birthday.

Miss Price, 33, joined Lauren and several friends, including fellow TOWIE star Maria Fowler, for a jaunt to central London.

The motley crew hit seafood restaurant Zilli in Soho, before heading to the Shadow Lounge to continue partying.

But it was Katie Price's rather obscure wardrobe choice that became the centrepoint of the evening.

The glamour model wore a white vest with a large tiger face emblazoned across its entire front,with an unusual pair of leggings with sheer panels down the sides, metal detailing down the front of the legs and studded knee pads.

She completed the outfit with a pair of beige ankle boots.

According to reports it took a grand total of 16 hours for Miss Price to have her new hair extensions fitted.

Despite her outlandish outfit overshadowing her friend's toned down look, Katie sensibly opted to head home early after the group had shared a meal together.

Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli personally cooked for the pair, and Katie Price dined on a healthy organic baked sea bass without drinking – taking seriously her new role as Lauren’s agent and leaving at 8pm.

Her early exit may well have been to allow Lauren to soak up all of the attention on the night.

Meanwhile birthday girl Lauren looked great in a far more understated LBD which perfectly complimented her fantastic figure.

The birthday girl carried a foil balloon throughout the evening, so she at least got a share of the attention during the course of the night.

Katie and Lauren have been friends for some time and have been pictured partying together on several.

Most recently Lauren attended a birthday party for Miss Price's boyfriend Leandro Penna.

Maria, 25, wore a patterned mini dress by AX Paris, while Lauren Goodger wore a similar cut blue number with long sleeves by Gorgeouscouture.com.

Both ladies kept their top halves covered up, perhaps to allow their friend the birthday girl to bask in the limelight.

Coincidentally fellow TOWIE star Luck Mecklburgh and her new man Mario walked past the restaurant while their co-stars were inside, but they didn't pop in to say hello.

Earlier in the evening Lauren was obviously excited about her impending night out.

Her first stop was Zilli's restaurant, where the group enjoyed a spot of seafood put on by hosts Aldo and Nikki Zilli.

The posse, which also included Lauren's friends Tommy Clark, Jemma Stern and a few colourful characters including hairstylist 'Mikey Kardashian' and Joey Haines, ended up in gay venue the Shadow Lounge.

The private members-only club touts itself as 'one of the most unashamedly stylish, fashionable and sumptuous experiences in the capital'.

Stay strong, Wrighty! TOWIE's Mark struggles with his celibacy pledge in a yoga class full of pretty and half-dressed girls

The Only Way is Hell: Mark Wright struggles to stay focused as he attends a yoga class full of pretty young Lycra-clad women

After vowing that he wasn't going to even look at another woman after breaking up with Lauren Goodger, a yoga class full of scantily-clad women wasn't exactly going to help his willpower.

But despite his eye wandering to all sorts of places - and body parts - during his zen workout, Mark Wright stuck to his pledge and left alone at the end of the class.

However, he soon bemoaned to his best mate how hard it had been to keep his mind on his yoga moves - and his celibacy vow.

He just can't cope! A sexy woman in tight and revealing workout clothes catches Mark's eye...

He met James 'Arg' Argent for a quick bite to eat, who couldn't help but tease Mark about doing the class.

But when he questioned his no-women vow, Mark said it had been a struggle and told him: 'I walked in, there were fourteen birds, an eight of ten minimum and all I can think about is boobs, arse and more arse. I nearly broke the celibacy right there and then!'

She was at a car boot sale with her mother Deborah and Joey Essex as they attempted to sell their unwanted goods, but sadly only managed to make £6 between them, despite Joey insisting that his UGG boots were worth £1,000.

Encouraged by Lydia, he did manage to get himself a pair of jeans but Deborah laughed and said they were too small.

Viewers were also introduced to Harry's older brother Ronnie, as they got a van full of plants to take to the boot sale and when Harry asked what a pansy was, Ronnie replied: 'YOU should know what a pansy is!'

The boys ended up making £40 and celebrated with a pizza back at their house while they discussed Harry's sexuality and Ronnie said he'd take Harry to his first gay nightclub when he's 18.

In the meantime, Harry had been recruited as Gemma's Cupid at her singles night that night which she was throwing at the Sugar Hut nightclub.

Meanwhile, Lucy Mecklenburgh, who reportedly kissed Mark in Marbella shortly before he split from Goodger, was having a coffee with boyfriend Mario when Lauren's sister Nicole walked over to them.

As an uncomfortable Mario looked on, Nicole said to Lucy: 'Thanks for getting Mark away from my sister, she's finally seen the light and that's all down to you.'

Both ended up at the singles' night which saw the girls get given a lock to wear round their necks while the boys had keys which they had to try out on different women.

Kirk unlocked Jessica Wright's lock but as Lauren walked past they said it was awkward and would act like it didn't work.

Maria and Mick ended up at the bar and found that their lock and key worked together and joked that this was when Mick should run and get his pre-nup, while Joey tried a number of unsuccessful chat up lines on a couple of women, including 'what's your favourite fruit?', and 'what's your favourite animal?'

It seemed that most of the TOWIE gang were there including Billie and Sam Faiers, Chloe Sim, Frankie Essex and Lauren Goodger.

Mark Wright had given it a miss, and, as Mail Online reported earlier this week, was seen at home alone with a pizza and DVD for company.

But Mark ends up at Alec's where he crashes Arg and Lydia's romantic dinner but his best friend asks him to pull up a chair and Mark starts moaning about being lonely.

But as Arg sticks up for him, Lydia calmly puts him in his place and tells Mark: 'You've got to understand that Lauren's put up with a lot of crap over the past year and is entitled to move on.'

Now we can all dress like the TOWIE girls! Sam and Billie Faiers launched their Minnie's boutique website last night alongside Gemma Merna and a pretty friend


Before The Only Way Is Essex, the county wasn't exactly synonymous with style.

But since the ITV2 show aired, there has been a massive increase in the amount of girls who are keen to adopt the fashion sense of its stars, including Sam and Billie Faiers.

So, keen to please their die-hard fans, Sam and Billie have now launched a website for their clothes boutique Minnie's, meaning followers all over the world will be able to get their hands on the unique Essex style.


The TOWIE sisters celebrated the launch of the website last night with a star-studded party at the Sugar Hut nightclub in Brentwood.

While newly-brunette Sam looked stunning in a low-cut purple dress from Minnie's, Billie wore a cowl-neck black minidress.

They were joined by TOWIE friends including Kirk and Mick Norcross, and Harry and Ronnie Derbidge, as well as Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna at the event.

Talking about the launch of Minnie's website last night, Sam told MailOnline: 'I'm really excited with how everything has been going.

'We're going to be stocking a range of different brands on the site and can't wait for people to visit it!'

Sam was also joined at the party, sponsored by Pink Pigeon Rum, by her new boyfriend TJ, with whom she rekindled her romance earlier this month.

But she added in her column in Star magazine that she doesn't know how her ex-boyfriend, and fellow TOWIE star, is going to react to news of the fact she's dating again.

She wrote: 'I'm not sure if Joey knows but he can't say anything - I've heard he's getting with plenty of girls. Good luck to him!'

Sam split from Joey Essex in July and was first spotted with TJ at the V Festival in Chelmsford last month.

And the pair can soon be seen in their very own workout DVD, alongside Lydia Bright, due for release on 31st October.

The Only way is Essex star put on her party shoes for a night out in London with her girlfriends last night following a bitter showdown over Twitter with her ex.

Miss Goodger hosted a night at Aura nightclub in Mayfair where racy dance troupe and Britain's Got Talent contestants girls Roc also performed, and on her way to the club she was pictured with her pals in a cab filled with fake tan, false eyelashes and hair extensions.

The 24-year-old wore a short clingy silver dress with black platform peep-toe heels and a clutch bag.
