When Loose Women met TOWIE: Denise Welch and Carol McGiffin look worse for wear after night of partying at Sugar Hut

The stars of two of ITV's most popular shows joined forces yesterday for a wild night out.

Loose Women Denise Welch, 53, and Carol McGiffin, 51, headed to Brentwood to party with the cast of The Only Way Is Essex.

The ladies donned tiny outfits and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Sam Faiers and Harry Derbridge at favourite TOWIE haunt Sugar Hut.


And McGiffin and Welch clearly enjoyed their evening at the night club, as upon leaving they were photographed piling into a car with 17-year-old Derbridge.

The women looked worse for wear and revealed a little too much leg as they rested against him and McGiffin wrapped an arm around the surprised looking reality star's knees.

The Loose ladies had dressed to the nines in an attempt to fit in with the TOWIE lifestyle and both donned seriously short party dresses.

Welch went for a flirty black dress decorated with big white stars, which she accessorised with sky high red platform heels and lipstick to match.

The actress was showing off her newly brunette crop after revealing her move to the dark side on Loose Women yesterday, and appeared to be proving that switching from blonde did not mean she would be having any less fun.

Radio host McGiffin meanwhile took the plunge in a low-cut sequinned gold dress, which she teamed with nude patent high heels and messy hair.

Debridge took to his Twitter account to gush over the good time he had spent with the pair, and also hinted that the chat show panelists could be making a cameo appearance on the next series of TOWIE.

He tweeted: 'Filming with the loose women girls, love them xx'

Welch was equally excited by the experience and posted pictures of herself posing with the TOWIE cast before they hit the town.

One picture showed Welch and McGiffin with 20-year-old Sam Faiers along with the caption: 'Me, @McGiff, and @SamanthaFaiers in TOWIE!! About to have a Vajazzle!!!'

She then posted a picture of herself sat on Derbridge's lap with the caption: 'Me and @mrharryderbidge ready for @sugarhut!! xx'

After revealing her decision to ditch the peroxide hair in favour of a new brunette do, the Coronation Street star said: 'Maybe it will make me a little more serious and I fancied a change.'
