Weekend results catch-up!

It's been another busy weekend for reality shows with two more contestants given their marching orders....

So first up it's Strictly and the departure of footballer Peter Shilton and his professional partnet Erin Boag. I like Erin but it seems like she was paired with a dud this year - Peter's footwork was clunky and he stomped around the studio like a horse on Saturday night. In fairness, he did give it his all and you could see his disappointment but the standard is so high this year that the poor man didn't stand a chance.

He was joined in the bottom 2 by Michelle Williams and her partnet Ian Waite (who was standing in for Brendan this week). I kinda guessed that they would be in danger as they only met last Monday - after all, it takes time to gel with your partner and they were up against pairings that had worked together for 8 weeks.

The results show was watched by almost 10 million people - quite a feat for 7:30pm on a Sunday evening.

On to The X Factor where we said goodbye to John Adeleye in what was frankly a shocking result. John ended up in the bottom two with Treyc Cohen but was beaten out in the sing off. The result shows how bonkers the programme is - just how does Wagner keep getting through??

Of the live performances, I must say that I particularly enjoyed Mr Michael Bublé who sang his new single Hollywood. There was plenty going on during the performance but I found myself just watching how effortless it is to him. The crowd of course loved it!

Now unfortunately I cannot be so complimentary of Miss Cole (nee Tweedy) - press reports today suggesting that her performance was pre-taped before the show went to air and was slotted in. There asre also reports that she mimed to a "live" backing track for the bulk fo the song (with the exception being the couple of lines that she sang properly live at the end). In a singing competition, how does one of the judges get away with miming?? She was also slated by Perez Hilton - he commented that she needs to sack her choreographer and stylist.

There are also reports in the tabloids today that infighting between the judges has become so bad that the producers had to warn them all on Saturday night to drop it. The report says that comments made by some judges were deemed to be aimed more towards their mentors - for example, Rebecca was wearing a wig the same colour as Cheryl Cole's hair on Saturday. Dannii told her it made her look older than she actually was and then threw a side look to Cheryl. In another example, Louis Walsh made a very public accusation that Simon Cowell was only interested in one of his acts and was ignoring girl group Belle Amie. Even the girls have said that this is nonsense.

Will they be able to play nice? Only time will tell!
